Job Description
Global Hedge Funds productivity team is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to drive the design,implementation, and management of critical systems supporting core business functions, including email, messaging, authentication, and mobile device management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting secure and scalable solutions within the Microsoft Azure/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments, leveraging their expertise to optimize identity access management,
and service provisioning. This role includes responsibility for troubleshooting complex systems, automating processes through PowerShell, collaborating with internal teams to ensure high availability, and proactively enhancing security and compliance across all supported platforms. Experience with integrating Linux systems and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
? Design, implement, and manage hybrid Microsoft Active Directory and Azure/Entra ID environments supporting centralized authentication, directory synchronization, and identity federation solutions.
? Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online,
and ensure reliable messaging, email, and collaboration solutions.
? Integrate and secure mobile devices using Intune for MDM, including policy configuration, app deployment, and compliance enforcement.
? Develop and enforce security policies for identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, privileged access management, and compliance with regulatory standards and the company’s internal security policies.
? Automate administrative and operational processes using PowerShell and related scripting tools for Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure environments.
? Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to authentication, messaging, infrastructure performance, and service availability.
? Lead migrations and upgrades for identity and messaging systems, including Exchange hybrid deployments and consolidations.
? Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, policies, procedures, and architecture diagrams to support audits and knowledge sharing.
? Provide guidance and support for security, identity, email, and MDM solutions, acting as an escalation point for complex incidents.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align identity, messaging, and device
management solutions with business objectives and operational excellence.
? Support productivity by researching, evaluating, and integrating new technologies to enhance identity management and overall system security and efficiency.
Job Qualifications
? Strong academic background with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
? Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure/Entra ID, Exchange (on- premises and online), and M365 administration.
? Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar, with proven expertise in automation of administrative tasks.
? Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting strongly preferred.
? Experience with Citrix and remote access connectivity a plus.
? Demonstrated success as a strong contributor and communicator on multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including architectural design and problem-solving.
? Experience designing, deploying, and supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
? Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation for escalated support and critical incidents.
