Job Title: Territory Sales Manager – Automotive Aftermarket
Location: San Jose, CA
Department: Sales
Reports To: Regional Sales Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Territory Sales Manager to join our growing team in the San Jose market. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing sales of automotive aftermarket parts to a portfolio of clients, including dealerships, independent repair shops, and collision/body shops. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry, proven B2B sales experience, and a passion for building relationships and delivering value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the territory.

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with auto dealerships, repair centers, and body shops.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Conduct regular visits to customer locations to assess needs, present solutions, and provide support.

  • Educate customers on product lines, new releases, promotions, and inventory availability.

  • Track sales activities, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate customer records using CRM tools.

  • Work closely with the customer service, distribution, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and brand consistency.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the automotive aftermarket or parts distribution industry.

  • Strong knowledge of auto parts, repair operations, or dealership service departments is highly preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and grow a sales territory.

  • Self-motivated with strong time-management and organizational skills.

  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the San Jose territory regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to auto body/collision shops or dealership fixed operations.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

  • Technical automotive training or ASE certifications.
