Sr. Production Planner

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer / Production Planner to optimize manufacturing operations and coordinate production planning. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely production to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data analysis, process design, and production scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.

  • Develop and implement process improvements using Industrial Engineering techniques and Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Create and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure availability of materials and resources.

  • Monitor production performance and adjust plans as needed to meet targets.

  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for management.

  • Support capacity planning, labor optimization, and workflow layout improvements.

  • Participate in new product introduction planning and support production ramp-up efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning and industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling software.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
