Job Description

Manhattan based Investment firm is seeking an Analyst to join their technology team. This person will be responsible for building data analytics and reporting solutions associated with their Private Credit strategies. He/she will be involved in multiple projects, many of which will involve working directly with their Portfolio Management, Operations, Risk and Finance teams.

Responsibilities
? Work directly with designated business groups to identify process inefficiencies, analytic use cases and automation opportunities
? Own detailed analysis of business process workflows, helping with data cleanup and compiling data for ad-hoc requests
? Collaborate with their internal software development team as well as application vendors to develop solutions and integrate vendor products to deliver rich, enterprise-wide software solutions
? Projects will include facilitating co-ordination and development of best-in-class data analytics /reporting solutions supporting the following:
• Senior Management reporting
• Business Development and Investor Relations
• Various Front Office PMs, Traders and Analysts
• Risk Analytics
• Middle Office operations
? Ability to partner with offsite and offshore development teams
? Continuously provide inputs to enrich data access and innovate analytic capabilities

Candidate Profile
? Demonstrated track record of academic and professional achievement
? Undergraduate degree with focus on Computer Science / Finance / Economics or equivalent
? 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry; hedge fund, private debt fund
? Ability to perform business analysis, as well as manage and maintain various user relationships
? Experience with Data Visualization/ BI tools (Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, or comparable)
? Technical expertise using MS SQL, MS Excel, Python, or other relevant data manipulation tools
? Experience with Snowflake eco-system desired
? Product knowledge with one or more asset classes (Bank loans, bonds, credit derivatives, FX forwards)
